I begin by reviewing your reference images, discussing the story behind the subject, and considering how the design will sit on your chosen placement. This helps establish the right scale, contrast, and composition before tattooing begins.

During the session, I work carefully through structure, shading, texture, and fine detail. You can expect a calm, considered process with attention given to how the image will read both up close and over time.
